The lovely Carine has recently added new images to her profile, and as expected they are as fantastic as the previous ones!
Once again Carine’s images are full of vibrant colours, the colour really seems to pop out of the images. As she mostly uses only one colour at a time the effect is heightened, it is not competing with other shades for dominance.

Above is an image for Sense, a charity supporting deafblind people. Orange is the charity’s colour and Carine has done a really good job in having such a large amount of orange in the image without it overwhelming the model.

Again, with the above image, the colour is at the forefront of the image, and the background doesn’t take anything away from it. It’s also an example of Carine’s rooftop images. Which she says were shot on a Spring Equinox last year, because she wanted to work with the ambient light. Carine also says the sky felt like they were in Los Angeles for the shoot, and I have to say, this does look very ‘Hollywood’ to me!

Next up we have the return of gold! If you remember in the previous blog Carine had a lot of gold in some images and I’m pleased to say there is more to come. The golden tone really sets off the model’s hair and skin tone nicely, and again the gold material on the floor gives this model’s skin the same glow as in the other images.

Carine says she enjoys working with gold as it ‘brings a lovely feel to the light’, which I think can been seen in the gold images. Carine also mentioned that she is working with different reflective materials in her shoots, as is seen in the disco ball and the sunglasses and sequins in the above two images. I hope there is more of this to come!
I really enjoy looking at Carine’s work, she is an honest, genuine person to talk to, who most definitely deserves all the success in the world. Once again I can’t wait to see what she sends us next!
