London Make-up artist Pascale Recher Published on Thursday, 19 April 2012 09:57
Today I’m going to introduce you to Pascale Recher. Pascale is a make-up artist of French origin, now based in London. She trained at ITM Paris, and has had a number of high profile clients whilst in France such as Louis Vuitton, Reebok and Sony.
In the UK Pascale has also worked for high profile clients such as ITV, Ealing Studios, Blind Eye Films, TGI Fridays and the band You Me at Six.
Pascale says she likes to see more skin than make-up and I really like her approach. Most of her models hardly look as if they’re wearing make-up and are just in their own skin.
Pascale brings out the natural beauty in her models, enhancing their features and really making the most of their looks. Pascale says she likes airbrush make-up for its quality and the thin layer of make-up it applies and this is evident in her images.
But Pascale also does dramatic make-up well and is a versatile artist, as the above images have already proven.
I particularly like the razor image, I think it might be my favourite out of all the images on Pascale’s Fashion Rider profile. Whilst the make-up is more dramatic than on the other images it is not over the top or out of place with Pascale’s style.
