Collaborative Fashion Design Team Stitch-Up London Published on Tuesday, 08 May 2012 14:44

Innovative, forward thinking clothing from the most talented of designers is one thing, but when you put together five, the results are something else.

Stitch-up London is a collaborative fashion design team made up of Natasha Wood, Drou Angelides, Jenny Bourne, Carly Victoria Johnson and Andrew Demetry. The team works by using the different strengths and ideas of each individual to create the very best in unique garments. All of the designers have completely different backgrounds, and have drawn inspiration from the cultures they have been brought up in. From countryside chic in wax jackets and boots to Greek ethnic design, the gang are able to bring in a whole range of styles with an East London edge to small boutiques, online stockists and pop-up stores.

As well as bringing together a range of influenced styles, Stitch-up London also have an eye for incorporating a mix of old and new into their work through up-cycling in order to ensure that the garments they create are completely unique. To me, that’s the beauty of Stitch-up London clothing. While their eclectic designs are socially inspired; when wearing one, you would be guaranteed to stand out from the crowd without looking out of place in a social environment. These designs are perfect for anyone with an experimental style, looking for something unique to make a statement.
