The illustrations are in and it’s clear to see the talent behind textile designer Louise Leighton.
The first thing that strikes you about the garments is the bursting colour inspired by the energetic cultures found in Barcelona and Geneva, the origin of inspiration behind the prints.
The second is the chic yet statement structure of each piece. The timeless shapes count none other than the Vancouver skyline as their muse.
The third and possibly the most intriguing characteristic of the collection is the designer (Louise Leighton’s) ability to convert a structurally self-conscious, digitally enhanced vision into a delicately feminine collection with the showmanship of McQueen and the wearability of Chanel.
It is this blend of unique qualities that Louise Leighton possesses is what Fashion Rider believes will make her a sure fire success in the future of fashion.
Stay tuned to the Fashion Rider Blog for the photo shoot showcasing Louise’s designs.
