Looking for a graphic designer to create a logomark, motion graphic, and (potentially) logotype for our upstart multimedia entertainment company.
Real Human seeks to bring people together through conversation, storytelling, and community building by speaking to both unique and universal human experience, inviting it’s viewers, listeners, and readers, to reflect upon how we all can navigate and connect in an increasingly fractured world with candor, compassion, and courage.
We hope to connect with a graphic designer who shares our values and can help imagine visual manifestations of our company’s mission and execute on more settled components of our brand identity. Though this is a one time, full buyout freelance position, it is our expectation that more action items will arise in the near future, and our earnest hope that a working relationship could be developed to our mutual benefit.
From a style perspective, though we are enamored with the admittedly zeitgeist 80s moment seen in design across the film and music world in the last decade, we are also interested in exploring the possibility of being on the front end of a shift we expect to flow towards the current fashion preoccupation with the early 90s (fashion: normcore; Real Human: think Earth Day t-shirt style). Nevertheless, we remain eager for and open to designers intuitions and ideas.
We are a Los Angeles based company and would prefer to work with locally based GDs, though we are willing to accept submissions from interested applicants out of area.
Promoting our members throughout the industry, providing exciting job opportunities and supporting them with increased visibility and valuable advice to ensure their journey is a long and successful one.
